Also known as the “Bridge of Love” (Jembatan Cinta), the bridge is attracting many foreign visitors who are flocking to the beach for photographic mementos.
The new and improved bridge is not only physically larger but stronger than its predecessor, capable of supporting 30 tons but with traffic restricted to pedestrians and motorcycles. Nusa Penida covers an area of 363 square meters, representing 2/3 of the total land area of the Regency of Klungkung.
Other visitors to the area use the luxury cruise vessels that operate on a daily basis between the Port of Benoa and Nusa Penida/Nusa Lembongan.
The Yellow Bridge connecting Nusa Lembongan and Nusa Ceningan in Bali’s Nusa Penida Island has become the island’s landmark.
“In the evening, the bridge catches the attention of passers-by, both locals and tourists,”
The Yellow Bridge is 140 meters long and 1.8 meters wide.
Hundreds of tourists can be seen on and around the bridge before sunset to enjoy the beautiful scenery and background offered by the landmark
